Questions
Are the images real?
Yes. The Earth is a real photo from NASA's DSCOVR/EPIC satellite (since 2015) or a real mosaic from the MODIS satellites (since 2000). The Sun comes from NASA's SDO observatory (since 2010). If an image doesn't exist for that date, we don't make one up.
What if they were born before 2000?
Back then no satellites photographed the whole Earth every day, so we use the real photo of their last birthday and say so on the card. The sky that night (the Moon and planets) is calculated for their exact date.
What do I get?
An A4 and an A3 PDF at 300 dpi, ready to print. If you choose the printed version, we ship it to your door with the PDF included.
Can I order several at once?
Yes: with a pack you upload a list of names and dates and each person gets their own poster. Perfect for weddings, families or teams.
Where do you ship?
The digital version works everywhere. For prints, we tell you whether we ship to your country and how long it takes when you choose it.
Are you affiliated with NASA?
No. We use NASA's public images, but Spacelebrate is not affiliated with or endorsed by NASA.
